Thin Pie of turnip with eXOse grape sugar

Ingredients and quantities:

  • For the batter
  • Flour : 25g
  • Oat flakes : 1 tablespoon
  • Ground hazelnuts : 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil : 1 tablespoon
  • Milk : 2 tablespoons
  • Salt, Pepper
  • For the filling
  • Turnip: 1
  • Pine nut: 1 tablespoon
  • Butter: (for the baking tin)
  • Salt, Pepper
  • eXOse grape sugar : 2 tablespoons

Method

  1. Wash the turnip, peel it and cut it into rings.
  2. Cook in boiling water for 15 minutes, until they are soft.
  3. Dry and let cool.
  4. During that time, mix all the ingredients for the filling. Form a ball.
  5. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  6. In an individual buttered baking tin (13cm in diameter) with eXOse.
  7. Spread the pine nut, the sliced turnips.
  8. Pour the batter and spread it to cover the turnips.
  9. Put in the oven for 30 minutes.
  10. Turn out and serve with green salad
